Another open source 3D printer is now on Kickstarter: the RoBo 3D Printer developed by Coby Kabili, Mike Pilkington and Braydon Moreno from San Diego, CA has a cute Robot looking. It features a large print area 10 x 12 x 9 inch / 254 x 305 x 229 mm and claimed to be an easy-to-use and easy-to-assemble 3D printer.

Looks like a good model, I've seen a couple on KickStarter that look good.

I'm looking at getting the QU-BD RPM when it is available.  That why I can do CNC work as well.  Hopefully it is not a bad decision to mix a 3d printer and CNC in 1.
